As part of the Pressenza International Meeting, on Thursday, November 6, at the ULB (Free University of Brussels), an invitation was extended to all agents of change to share their experiences of engagement. Around forty people attended, including journalists from various media outlets, historians, filmmakers, trainers, teachers, activists, and campaigners, who shared their actions and aspirations for independent, free information that can highlight conflicts overlooked by traditional media and propose positive solutions from the grassroots level. The unique feature of this event was probably its cultural diversity, which opened participants’ minds and gave them a better understanding of other realities. People from Senegal, Mauritania, Congo DRC, Chile, Italy, Peru, Spain, France, Belgium, the USA, and Argentina shared their aspirations and proposals for a hopeful future.
