That is the slogan we have heard and are hearing repeated endlessly since 2022 until today
The European Union defends its “Democracy and Values” and those of Ukraine! That is the slogan we have heard and are hearing repeated endlessly since 2022 until today to justify not only all the sending of weapons and NATO military intelligence and warlike technical support to Ukraine against “the despotic Putin and his unprovoked military agression against innocent and peaceful Ukraine”, but now also it uses the same slogan to justify military upbuild throughout the EU to “defend itself against a very possible invasion by Russia”.
Queen Ursula von der Leyen held a really horrible speech in the European Parliament repeating these slogans and telling the audience to prepare for a Russian invasion within the next few years. Mark Rutte, the new General secretary of NATO, told the citizens of Europe that they had a choise: or prepare military and defend Europe’s democracy against a Russian invasion, of which he said it was not a matter of IF but WHEN, or start learning russian. In another press conference he said that high military spending was needed at the cost of healthcare, education and pensions. He said that freedom now comes with a price and that the european citizens should build up emergency packages in their homes.
The European elite is now fully in delusional mode and bringing the European population into a likewise delusional collective fear. The false narrative since 2022 has now geared up to unprecedented hights.
So it is high time that we have a look at the so called democracy and European values they say must be defended at all cost.
Let’s first look at the EU.
Democracy: there is no democracy anymore. The European Commission under Ursula von der Leyen since 2019 has become the not democratically elected central power of the EU. All important decisions are made by Ursula von der leyen and her sycophants (read loyal followers) and the governments of the member states have to comply. Those which do not (like Hungary, Slovakia and now also Chechia) are threatened with sanctions and covert regime change machinations. It was Von der Leyen who made a direct trade deal with Trump in Scotland that is harmful for the European economy, promising among other things to buy US weaponry in the amount of 500 billions of USdollars and invest 750 billions euros in the US economy. No member state was beforehand informed and her deal came as a surprise. Also her climate policy is forced on all the member states. These are just a few things she is dictating, reducing the member states’ governments to provincial entities. Democracy has become autocracy with dictatorial tendencies.
Ukraine: the slogan includes Ukraine as a democracy that has to be defended against Russia’s totalitarianism. The reality is that Ukraine was and is a state controlled by corrupt oligarchs and politicians since 2014 and before. And under Zelensky’s presidency this corruption has flourished even more, Zelensky himself being part of it, as we now see this latest corruption scandal closing in on him. All critics of his policies were eliminated. Some literally, others imprisoned. A number of opposing political parties were banned and dismantled. The Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine, the biggest in the country, was persecuted, its monasteries taken and its monks ousted. Zelensky’s inner circle is invested by extremist nationalists with nazi tendencies. Forced recruitement is a daily happening where men are taken from the streets and forced in vans to be send to the war front, a method the fascists of the past would be applauding vigorously. I can still go on, but I think this is enough to show how very democratic Ukraine and its government are. Ofcourse the EU knew all these things all the time. But a Union that has given up democracy replacing it with autocracy has no issue with Ukraine’s reality. Reality must be covered up. The means justify the ends. And the ends is and was eliminating the Russian Federation as a mayor political and economical player on the world scene, what failed, even if it meant to destroy the European economy, what it did.
So, the slogan “defending western democracy” is nothing more than defending western supremacy over the rest of the world, no matter what it takes.
Let’s now look at the so called European values which has to be defended.
As far as I can see there are no European values. Only anti-values. Neoliberal values of extreem individualism and consumism, of destruction of the social tissue, of destruction of social security and human rights of freedom of expression, of the mainstream media in the hands of corporate multinationals and banks who dictate what the consumer should hear and see and what not, of the ever growing wealth in the hands of an ever smaller group of multi-billionaires who extract this wealth from entire populations to never invert it back, of exponential growth of the cost of rent and sale of houses on the housing market so that ever fewer citizens has access to them, of entire cities plagued by drugs criminality with ever more young people without jobs falling in the trap of earning easy money as drugs couriers or placing explosives where the all around maffia tell them to place them, not to speak of the growing violence in and around schools where young people knive or shoot each other, and entire populations needing party and other drugs to have for a moment some kind of feeling of happiness. What a fantastic amount of European values that has to be defended. A chesspot of anti-values which reign throughout Europe.
No, in Europe democracy is dead and if there where ever European values, they are replaced by anti-values already quite some time ago.
The European political and corrupt elite live in their ivory towers with big salaries and their (elitair) future garantied, far away from the life of everyday citizens. They have lost all connection with reality and live in their nightmerrish fantasies of staying the masters of the world, no matter what.
This happens at the end of every civilisation in its last throws of delusion. It seems that the future is very bleak. But, as history tells us, after the end of every civilisation a new one emerges, as a fenix rising from the ashes. This time that new civilisation at the horizon will be a jump towards the future and a jump in human evolution. This new civilisation will be planetary, without artificial borders and without any kind of violence. The signals of that new civilisation are already there. In the young and not so young generations reaching over borders and over differences of races, colour of skin and culture, in the emergence of compassion, feeling the suffering of others and therefore denouncing all violence against human life in spontaneous as well as organised massive gatherings. Gatherings in which compassion and kindness are the general mood.
There might be still some difficult and painful times to come, but the new and evolved universal civilisation lives already among us!
