November 16 is the “International Day for Tolerance“.
Tolerance is a key value in our lives, and there are some famous quotes about it, such as this one by Albert Einstein:
“I could say analogously that tolerance is the affable appreciation of the qualities, views, and actions of other individuals which are foreign to one’s own habits, beliefs, and tastes. Thus, being tolerant does not mean being indifferent towards the actions and feelings of others. Understanding and empathy must also be present…”
During these days, many schools reflect on this theme through different activities or assemblies.
We are very happy to join this important celebration, created and promoted by UNESCO, with one of our videos.
