Every person who speaks out makes this violence harder to hide, strengthens Palestinian communities resisting displacement, and increases the pressure on those protecting its perpetrators. We can change this reality, but we must act together, and we must act now.
Settler terror is not random; it is a strategy for seizing Palestinian land by making Palestinian life impossible. Armed settlers attack communities, terrorize families, destroy homes and livelihoods, and besiege residents until fleeing feels like their only chance to survive, then Israeli settlements expand onto the land they were forced to leave behind. This is not the work of a few isolated extremists, but organized violence protected by the Israeli military, and enabled by the government.
The scale is staggering. In the first eight months of 2026 alone, the UN documented more than 1,600 settler attacks resulting in Palestinian casualties or property damage, nearly seven attacks every day across 275 communities. Since January 2023, settler attacks and related restrictions have displaced more than 6,200 Palestinians, including over 3,000 children, and completely emptied 47 communities. This is forced displacement and ethnic cleansing happening in front of us.
Palestinian communities in the occupied West Bank must not be left to resist settler terror alone. Only shared Jewish-Palestinian action, rooted in solidarity on the ground, can build the power needed to end this reality and create a future of freedom, safety, and justice for everyone.
