On October 24, 2026, the University Hotel at the University of the Philippines, Diliman, welcomes RICE & ABSTRACTION OF HERMISANTO, an art exhibit featuring the works of longtime Filipino multimedia artist Hermisanto.
Known for his experimental approach to art since the 1970s, Hermisanto has explored painting, installation, performance, and conceptual art. Since 2007, rice grains have become an important part of his creative expression, reflecting his belief that rice embodies the essence of the Asian spirit.
